This was my first newborn session amid the Covid-19 crisis.
We had this session scheduled right when it all happened and for their newborns safety we decided to postpone things until the stay at home order was removed! So that means by the time we did this newborn session, Miss Anna was a little over a month old! Because of that we got some really cute open eyed shots and some movement in her limbs!
We really took as many precautions as we could during this session. I wore a mask and kept a 6 ft distance at all times. Carly brought blankets to put down in the crib and on the bed. It actually all worked out great and we were able to accomplish this beautiful newborn session despite all the craziness happening around us!
I love the neutral color palette this family chose! Keeping it extra simple for newborns is the way to go in my opinion! That way the sole focus is on the people in the photo and their new baby and not outfits or patterns! The beautiful, all white studio definitely helped accomplish this as well!

The moses basket seen in a couple of the photos is a new addition to the props I have available for sessions! Ask me about it!
