This was an in studio family shoot to die for!
Kara is a fellow photographer that I actually met at Breanne Weston’s Finding Joy in Chaos workshop. We lived close, had a lot in common and both have extremely similar photography styles. When she asked me to do some family photos for her I was beyond excited!
She obviously has fabulous taste in outfits and coordinated everyone so perfectly. She has three rowdy boys. And when I say rowdy I mean ROWDY! They reminded me so much of my own two wild toddlers so photographing them was actually something I felt quite comfortable with.
You guys have no idea how many games, jokes, and songs I have tucked up my sleeve! If you’ve shot with me, then you know exactly what I mean. There’s no length I won’t go to get a smile out of kiddos. I’ll wrestle them, tickle, and sing at the top of my lungs. But hey, it works, and kids actually LOVE the sessions at the end.
We had to make sure to get some portraits of Kara at the end! Kara is such a beautiful person inside and out and I’m so glad I was able to find her as a friend!
