One thing I love about this job is that I get to document families as they grow! And that was this case with this family. I did their family pictures last year and this year I got to again, but they also had a little announcement to make…
Their little girl didn’t really feel like pictures and most kids don’t when it comes down to it! But these parents did SO good at keeping a smile and rolling with the punches. That is the key to getting good photos, just taking the moments as they come, and sometimes that means snuggling your whiny kid for a little and other times it means an impromptu game of tag. Real moments though, sometimes even kid directed, are what make the images so real and genuine!
