I’ve been photographing Chayla and her family for 5 years now and she has grown into the most beautiful woman! It is soooo much fun to get to photograph all these phases of life for the families I work with!
We did these photos at the very beginning of May, when Utah isn’t quite warm and blossoming yet but so close.. She really wanted flowers incorporated somehow and beautiful views so we had to brainstorm. Ultimately, we decided to choose a gorgeous field and then have her bring her own flowers to help brighten up the image.
It worked out PERFECTLY.
We also got some rainy cloud coverage and that mixed with the sun setting behind them, created the most beautiful purple tones in the sky! (That’s why it’s worth embracing iffy weather sometimes!)
