The actual maternity studio session of my DREAMS came true. I had been dreaming up this beautiful shoot for a while and was ready to make it happen. Dayna and her girls couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. I think I may have cried while editing these because they were turning out so beautifully.. better then I even expected.
The session itself, it was a little crazy! Would you believe me if I told you those little girls did not want to take photos at all? They really wanted to just explore the studio and do their own thing! The key to capturing so much beauty from this session was just accepting the moments when they came and not pushing for anything specific. We really catered to how the girls were feeling. Want to be silly? We let them dance or goof off. Felt sad, we let mom just snuggle them. I was totally prepared to capture every moment, the good ones and the bad!
