This was an extended family session done INSIDE.
Those are pretty much never requested but I wish they were for so many reasons! In this case one of their daughters had recently had a baby that was on oxygen, so for his health we decided to keep the session indoors. It really worked in everyone’s favor because the session turned out so cozy and cute!
Indoor sessions are the best because..
they’re comfortable, away from outdoor weather, and kids usually do better because it’s familiar and more relaxed. There’s also always somewhere to hangout while waiting, everything you might need is within a reach’s distance. Compile that all together and you have a stress free photo session!
I love the variety of individual family shots we were able to get during this session. The Blacka’s have a beautiful home that gave us lots of options. Sometimes indoor sessions may not seem doable but they absolutely are! All we need is a window with light and to rearrange some furniture to accommodate that!
